Our kids are our future! Which is why we support Key Club, a high school service club, aimed at promoting leadership, academics and community. We also fundraise to offer college scholarships to Key Club students in our local high schools.
We are always collecting donated laptops to refurbish and donate to a student in need. It's our aim to make sure our local students have everything they need to succeed - starting with a reliable computer.
Every year since 2001, we participate in the countywide annual Kiwanis Christmas in July event. Christmas in July is a personalized program that focuses on providing new necessities for these homeless children from newborns through age 18.
For the last 25+ years, our annual Adopt-a-Turkey event has provided food and grocery gift cards for 80+ families each year.
Kiwanis is a 110-year-old service organization, with clubs for all ages in over 80 countries. Our purpose is to bring people together to improve the world, one community and one child at a time, starting in our very own neighborhoods and expanding globally.
